The powered roller conveyor module is matched to infeed and outfeed conveyors on either side of the scissor lift. The infeed conveyor transfers goods onto the scissor lift; the scissor lift is then elevated to be unloaded, and then lowers. The powered conveyor then discharges the empty pallet onto the outfeed conveyor. The same principle is available with chain conveyors, which in some circumstances can be a very economical automation option for goods handling.
